‘Snaggletooth’
Suzuki Bandit 1200

I have owned this bike for about 6 years. 3 years ago I decided to strip her down and give her a complete revamp while trying not to go too far from original specification.

This was mainly due to a tight budget and I was doing the build myself. Engine was removed and serviced and the frame tank and panels sent to hydrographics at Acaster malbis . I had decided to base the theme as a tribute to my favourite band Motorhead as can be seen by various touches on the bike.

Unfortunately my rock God Lemmy passed away after work was complete which left me with a dilemma as how to sign off the bike in his memory. The answer was quite simple, it's on the seat which had to be sent away and restyled to suit. There are quite a few parts I hand made in my shed, the oil cooler surround/mounting, discreet headlight mounting and front brake line brace and a few more. The yokes i designed with a 30mm drop to accommodate the shorter GSXR 750M which were made by a mate along with the custom rearsets. The bike is finished of with a full Titanium Yoshimura Cyclone race system which was made to order in japan (costly but well worth it). Unfortunately I had to modify the rearsets as they wouldn't fit with the exhaust in place but turned out to be more comfortable as I had just had a hip replacement. She is running a stage 3 DynoJet kit and K&N pod filters. The headlight mounting bracket i made out of billet and designed it to be fitted under top yoke keeping the fork tubes clean.

I HOPE YOU ALL LIKE IT!
