Being a Professional build team at Shaw Speed & Custom, the Custom wing of Sussex based Dealership Shaw Harley-Davidson, it is all about the detail in the projects. The Batbike is an example of the class and finish which made Shaw Speed,not only the first World Championship winning Dealership, but also the first entry from outside of the US to win the coveted prize in 2010. The motorcycle; a 2011 Harley-Davidson V-Rod Muscle, was stripped down to the frame, the front suspension was replaced with new forks and yokes, the rear suspension set up was changed with modification to under slung shock absorbers from the normal outer set up. A new body kit was fitted and tailored for the build from the German company No Limits Customs, a huge 300mm rear wheel and 21 inch front wheel add muscle and stealth to the machine, different handlebars and controls, including upgraded brake rotors and calipers to stop the 1250cc beast and a high tech looking speedo panel adds to the luxury build of the bike, finished with a handmade seat and custom engine kit.
